Shipping policy

Order Details:

We are a small team, and we will endeavour to complete orders as soon as possible, please allow up to 2 weeks for UK delivery and 4 weeks for international shipments.

Orders to be delivered outside of the UK:

There may be import duties and local taxes payable on goods delivered outside the UK. The Orkney Creative Hub CIC is not responsible for paying these charges.

If you change your mind after placing an order, we will be happy to process a refund upon request before the order is fulfilled. Please contact no25@orkneycreativehub.co.uk

General Information:

The cost of postage and packaging is calculated based on the total weight of your order and the shipping destination.

Orders will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class or Airmail, based on the items ordered and the destination. We endeavour to select the shipping method that ensures an efficient and cost-effective delivery. Customers will receive a confirmation email once the item is shipped.

If you have any special delivery requirements, or any further questions regarding the information above, please contact us directly so that we can arrange an alternative shipping method and payment. 

Click and Collect

Our click and collect service is free of charge. Select "Pick up" at the shipping stage of online checkout to use this service.

Customers will receive two emails; one confirming the order and one confirming that the order is ready for collection.

Please collect your order from the Orkney Creative Hub CIC, 25 Bridge Street, Orkney, Kirkwall, KW15 1HR, United Kingdom, only once you have received the second email confirming your order is ready. Orders will be processed and ready for collection within 2-4 days.

Customers may collect their orders within the shop's opening hours, please see our website for up-to-date opening hours, as these vary depending on the time of year.

 

Shipping Rates

We use Royal Mail to post all our items. A confirmation email will be sent once your order has been despatched. Our UK postage rates are:

0 - 2 kilo - FREE UK SHIPPING

2 - 5Kg = £17.50
5 - 10Kg = £23.50
10 - 20Kg = £35.50 
Tubes used for posting prints = £7.50

Our international postage is based on parcels weighing up to 1Kg.

Europe = £10.20                  
Zone1 (Canada) = £23.00
Zone2 (Australia, N.Z. Singapore) = £25.00
Zone3 (USA) = £27.50

We are happy to post anywhere else too. Please contact us for details and pricing to other shipping areas.

Customers should note that being based in Orkney can mean that mail delivery, on rare occasions, may be delayed be the weather. We will endeavour to keep customers updated should this happen.
